Cathy Soya

Director of School Partnerships

Cathy has helped establish Partner School outreach and programming for middle schools and high schools in New Jersey. She spearheads Tigger Stavola Foundation’s (TSF) relationships with educational institutions by identifying, managing, and developing affiliations with Partner Schools. She collaborates with school administrators to bring drug education and mental health awareness to students throughout New Jersey.
In her strategic role, Cathy oversees the growth and curation of the TSF Speaker Portfolio by recruiting subject matter experts on addiction topics that are age appropriate for Partner School students. Cathy is also integral to the Foundation’s outreach efforts, representing TSF at the school presentations and community events that she organizes and plans, and distributes educational materials from the Foundation.
Cathy has worked in a school environment throughout most of her career. For over a decade, she worked in the West Long Branch school system as an aide who oversaw student behavior to ensure constructive interactions, and she supported intervention to maintain a positive and safe school environment. Prior to this, she worked at Parsons School of Design in NYC, as an Assistant Budget Director and Facilities Coordinator. Her duties included analysis and forecasting for budgets, hiring and space utilization and directing annual commencement ceremonies.
Cathy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Minor in Marketing at Long Island University. She is thankful to be part of the Tigger Stavola Foundation and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the schools and communities that we are proud to recognize as our partners in this life-changing pursuit.
